Character
Although he may be still young in his years, Fabian possesses almost an otherworldly wisdom and deep understanding of life. He seeks to gain as much knowledge as he can and greatly enjoys observing others, absorbing their experiences, stories and secrets. Although he’s not necessarily the brightest problem-solver, he is immersively supportive and loyal to those he considers his friends and shows great compassion for them. He rarely thinks only of himself; in fact, his younger years of self-made solitude and the pressure of family legacy have taught him to think of anyone but himself. Fabian has hard time saying “no” to a person in need. True to his peaceful nature, Fabian dislikes conflicts of any kind, especially when they involve his loved ones and family, and will do anything to avoid arguments or disputes, let alone violence. He wouldn’t hurt a fly, as they say of his kind. Usually polite and well-mannered, Fabian prefers settling matters calmly.
Despite his unusual outlook on death & macabre, he especially finds the acts of harming other living creatures deeply disturbing, though he understands it’s the natural way of life. Fabian is very passive, rarely would his boiling feelings show; others believe he lacks the courage or guts to speak his mind freely, but even this gentle soul could show its darker side if it’s about defending his loved ones – “beware the wrath of a quiet man” indeed.Fabian feels very deeply and is prone to emotional outbursts during stressful situations. Big and sudden changes especially are the things he’d need some time to adjust to. And while he’s truly proud of the accomplishments of his family, he often feels pressured to live up to their legacy, which urges him to set rather unrealistic expectations for himself. He’s ashamed of the smallest mistakes he makes, and he can’t bear the thought of disappointing anyone, let alone betray their trust.
Fabian is very anxious by nature, he often overthinks situations and actions too much, and is prone to depressive states of self-doubt. Sometimes he really struggles to see the brighter side of things; luckily, his friends’ and family’s faith in his helps to water these insecurities down. Once Fabian has set his mind to something, it’s hard to dissuade him from his chosen path. He may regret whatever he’s doing at the moment, of course, but his conscientiousness just won’t let him rest till he’s through. Fabian rarely makes promises right away, but that’s because he knows that he would go out of his way to fulfill it, and he doesn’t really know his own strength yet.
