Description
This morning at Hamburg's harbour. Two binmen on a break enjoying the sun. Photo taken from inside of an office building.E D I T : I changed the title, because I remembered that the workers in the harbour wear similar work clothes as the binmen in Germany.

Not only you. I go to the harbour quite often as every day is different there. It has a lot of different fascinating areas and is only rarely boring. It's a kind of magnet for me

The inside is so beautiful....but all those machines on the water...disgusting.

Well, the machines are actually cranes in the harbour and for my liking they "underline" the picture in a certain way. The harbour gives the picture as well as the area itself it's own flair and setting. I really like going there regularly. Every day is different down there...

Composition is the most important feature of a picture I believe. The rest are just finishing touches. Thanks for your comment!

Klasse!^^

Danke fΓΌr die Blumen! Freut mich!

Pffft. The lines are so straight! When I make pictures with my camera, the lines are never straight, but sort of rounded in to the centre of the image. How do you do it?

This is how it looked when it came out the camera:

I straightend it in Adobe's Lightroom 3. It's dead easy. Get it and you will love it.

wow this is amazing!!!! if you dont mind me asking what kind of camera do you have?

k-tones In reply to XRawrsavvyX [2010-10-24 21:55:14 +0000 UTC]
Honestly, the camera is not important. I also shot it with my cheapest lense. With a bit of knowledge and the help of Adobe Lightroom in this case anyone can do it. Even with a compact camera (if the wide angle is big enough).
P.S.: The type of camera can be found in the exifs (see right side a bit further down, but honestly, don't believe the camera takes the picture. It's you! The camera is only a tool.

yes but i have a really bad camera :/ it picks up alot of noise and im looking dor a new one i just want one that picks up alot of detail and no noise

I don't know a camera that produces a lot of noise at ISO200 or 100. Even 5 or older cameras are able to catch it noise free. This is bright sunshine and even a mobile phone could have done the picture. This is the original:

A lot of the finishing touches are done afterwards at the computer.

I don't usually feel that way for a photo (or any picture) either! But this one has that kind of an impact. Really amazing

ooooh wow, please don't - or do if it makes you feel better. I feel very pleased and honoured that a picture of mine can apparently create such big feelings.
