Introduction
And here we are with Princess Spike, another Spike episode. Was I right to worry, yes, yes I was. Also once again I'm gonna change things around, still trying to see what best suits me. At least as far as I can see giving a long winded full on synopsis of every episode is kinda pointless even with my own little spin on it, I trust if you're reading this then you either A already seen the episode or B haven't seen it and just don't care about spoilers, so I trust you come here knowing these, so from here on I'm just gonna focus more on my thought's of the episode like I should have a long time ago. Hope this is an improvement. Also I think four pictures better encompass an episode than just one, so I'm gonna do it for every future episode from now on.

Thoughts
  And here we have it, the first episode that did not impress. So the story is about Spike being put in charge of Twilight's princess duties while she gets some rest after not sleeping for three days. Okay I'm sorta willing to buy Spike abusing in little annoying ways like free cupcakes or massages but letting stuff like broken water pipes and top heavy trees is kinda pushing it. Also dragon sneeze trees, really? And in the end those come back to bite him in his scaley ass, like I didn't see that coming. So really most of my time was just waiting for Spike's karma to kick in. So was it all bad, well no, there were alot of things that I did like, Twilight's sleep deprived moments were pretty funny and adorkable, Princess Candence gains some more character, that gem statue of gems from all around Equestria was also pretty cool, and hey Fluffy Clouds is here, and hey look a griffon, also Cadance can create gem structures with her magic, awesome! So yeah there's quite a bit to admire in the backround and on the sidelines, it's just ashamed that they were wasted on this story.

  Those things going on in the backround are great, but when they're the only thing carrying the episode's weight that's not a good thing. Okay this is getting old, I want to like Spike I really do but so far 5 season's in Spike or at least the way he's writing is just so, uninteresting. Okay, so maybe Spike is in character, he's done plenty of these shinanogans before so I guess it's safe to assume this is his character, it's just well, not really perking much of my interest. Part of me wanted to give this episode two stars, but thinking back on it, structurewise I guess it's sound, Spike has been like this before so he's in character, no broken continuity, nothing that made me mad in anyway, I enjoy watching the things in the backround as short clips, but storywise it was just one big meh. Well I'll say that the episode did do better than I expected but only because my expectations were so low. Here's hoping this quality isn't gonna be this quality isn't gonna be a regular thing for all his future episodes.
