My Submission for the Radical Racer Challenge

When The Golfer isn't hitting hole-in-ones in the post-apocalyptic desert, you can find him competing for gallons of water in the Mega Destruction Battle To The Finish (a monthly race hosted by the local warlord). Nobody knows his real name or appearance, but he's famous on the race track for his ruthless tactics.

Vehicle: Rocket Cart
The Golfer drives a golf cart he found at an abandoned resort. Using his limited knowledge of mechanics and a whole lot of super-adhesive tape, he's tricked it out with a rocket booster (in an old bomb casing), a variety of spikes, and his favorite bobble-head. Because of his roof-mounted rocket boost, he can be heard racing from miles away.

Lucky Charm: Horseshoe
The Golfer always keeps his special horseshoe with him when he's racing. He's a superstitious person, and he's been known to say that it "keeps the luck in, and keeps me in luck." It's a rare item, since horses have been extinct for several decades.

Special Trick: Smoke-Balls
The Golfer keeps some special golf balls for racing. He marks them with a sharpie so he won't mix them up with regular ones. When thrown onto the track behind him, the smoke-balls create a vast cloud of smoke that is sure to cause a chaotic pile-up. As everyone else is struggling to get their bearings, he'll be crossing the finish line and smiling under that creepy sand-mask.

Despite his imposing appearance, he'll gladly invite fellow competitors to a friendly game of golf after a long, tiring race. Just don't get on his bad side, because it looks like one of those clubs isn't meant for the green.
