Its been a while since I added an original Kaiserverse Project and after six Canon Changes done I decided to add at least one of my original projects. And here it is, Dragon Force, the name might be, lame? I don't know, couldn't think of something better really, and it fits them so, yeah. I have actually been wanting doing this team since I first came up with the concept, but I had other projects in line, comissions, canon changes and specially life, so I had to wait to make it. I wanted to be able to make them exactly how I pictured them too, that meant I wanted to have more experience creating PR teams before I did this one. All in all, I think they could look better, but I think that of all my projects lol, so, yeah.-----------------------------

Well, you might know by now, or probably not, but I love dragons, i mean it, I LOVE them! I really wished they were real, but they aren't But anyway... I came up with this team quite some time ago, as I said, I love dragons, and for that reason I have been able to notice something most people might have not noticed yet: there are many different types of dragons. Probably the most well known are the Western and Eastern Dragons, the quadrupedal winged dragon and the serpent like dragon that flies without wings. But there are many more. So I thought to myself, what about a team where each ranger had a different type of dragon? Now that is something I'd love to see! And so this project was born.
The suit I wanted it to look like most sixth rangers do, kind of armored and with a shield, but not too armored because then the sixth ranger would not look like a sixth. I think I did capture what I wanted, but again, I think I could improve it too. Now, I don't expect all of you to know what each dragon is, but I will leave down a list of each of them if you are interested. What you might need to know is how they differentiate from each other in this team at least. So here it goes:
- Red is a regular Western Dragon, one most people is familiar with, and as such, I gave him the two horns most Western Dragons are depicted since well, its their most common trait.
- Blue is a Water Dragon, or Sea Serpent as some call them, I hate that name btw, so they are not particularly horny, but they tend to have fins, and that's what the helm has, fins on the side to represent the body fins and a big one in the middle of the helm that represents the long fin that runs all over their body in most depictions of the dragon. It has two small horns on the fin's side because, why not?
- Green is a Drake, a wingless dragon, those are often depicted as being very bulky and sturdier than regular dragons, their horns vary from hornless to a single huge horn or my favorite, ram like curved horns, and that is what green has.
- Yellow is an Easter Dragon, the serpent like dragon that flies without wings that I mentioned, they are usually depicted with deer like horns, the japanese ones at least, and I thought that was quite unique and liked it, so that is what she has, deer like horns.
- White is an Amphiptere, a serpent like dragon with only one pair of limbs, wings that are close to where their arms would be. THey tend to be either hornless or have short horns, so I have her a pair of short horns.
- And finally Gold, yeah, he is a Gold much like how Zeo Gold is, primarily black in color but categorized as Gold Ranger. Well, Gold is a Wyvern, they were, depending on the source, lesser dragons or magic dragons, or if you are in japan, they are greater than dragons, don't know why really. Often depicted smaller than their western counterparts (which they shared reign with). I personally dont think they would be lesser or greater than dragons, for me they are dragons, a different depiction than the most popular one yeah, but a great one on its own.

Backstory
There was one time when humans lived in peace with dragons, many were the tribes, towns and even kingdoms of humans that worshiped dragons and fed them and they in return protected them, soon these groups began to call themselves Dragonkin for their close relationship with said dragons. It was until one of the most famous and strongest of dragons decided his Kin was strong enough to take on the others and expand that problems arose. The dragon named Ladon, had kneaded probably the biggest Kin of all the dragons, almost twice the size of the next largest one and sent them to attack others. Soon a war begun and after Ladon's Kin had defeated and forced to join all the Kins nearby the others decided to gather together. Though dragons at first only accepted to join with dragons of their same species, which led to six Kins being formed, one for Western Dragons, four legged dragons with wings named for living almost exclusively in what is today Europe, one for Water Dragons, dwellers of seas and lakes, one for Drakes, four legged wingless dragons, physically stronger than the rest, but hindered by their flightless ability, one for Eastern Dragons, serpentine wingless dragons capable of flight, given their name for them inhabiting mostly the eastern part of the world, one for Amphipteres, dragons whose only limbs were their wings and finally one for Wyverns, four limbed dragons whose front limbs had fused with their wings and left them with only four limbs.
During their clashes with Ladon's Kin many dragons would die at the hands of their foes which made the dragons realize that even when Ladon had fewer dragons on his side, his Kin outnumbered their and so they devised a plan to level the field, they would each choose a champion from their individual Kins and bestow on them part of their power. It worked, but only to an extent, the battles weren't always a massacre but they were still losing dragons and champions now, but in return Ladon's Kin had stopped growing at least. But even after that they were not sinning yet, it was painfully obvious that the six kins would need to work together if they wanted to stop Ladon. And so they all agreed to work together, attacking Ladon's Kin together they outnumbered them, but when Ladon joined the battle they lost many members, Dragons and Champions alike. It was until the Wyvern Kin attacked with all of their Dragons and Champions, losing all of their dragons in the process that Ladon got wounded enough to open a chance for the rest of Kins. THe rest of the Kins took the chance and attacked a wounded Ladon, each Kin with only a handful of Dragons and Champions at their disposal, in the end Ladon was defeated, and if it weren't for his sorcerer and necromancer followers, he would've died, instead he was sent to an underground lair to sleep and transported to a faraway land. The Kins were happy, Ladon was defeated, his threat remained, but for the time being they were free, but at a great cost, the Wyvern Kin was lost in all but name, all their dragons and Champions had died while the rest of Kins had lost almost all of their Dragons and Champions.
In the end they decided to remain together as kins, they would return to their homes, the Western Dragon Kin and Water Dragon Kin would remain in what is today Europe, the Eastern Dragon Kin returned to what is today China and spread all over the east since they were one of the two Kins with more Champions still living, the Drake Kin moved to the island of Britannia while the Amphiptere Kin the other Kin with the most Champions alive moved away from Europe, decided to spread as wide and far as they could to make sure to find Ladon's place of hiding. Each of them agreed to protect the dragons that remained and would ensure their Champions to have children so when the time came to face Ladon again they would have at least one person in each Kin with the power of the dead dragons in their veins, at least one who could help in the battle when the time came. Sadly as time passed all records of their battle had been erased from memory and only those who belonged to the Champions' line would know of the threat that one day would arise.
History
Many centuries after Ladon's rise and defeat, the Champions' lines had managed to continue training their children and telling them about the battle that once took place, and eventually they found, each by their own means, a way to point the land of rest of Ladon, but unable to access it, they decided to move to the country, establishing themselves as business men, artists and any facade needed to go unnoticed so when the time came to face Ladon they would be ready. Many years passed and finally during one of their scoutings, the Kennard family, descendants of the Western Dragon Kin found Ironden, a mining town was the place that emanated the most energy related to Ladon. They decided to settle in and contacted the other descendants they could. The Vela family, claiming to be descendants of one of the Amphiptere Kin's Champions were the first to join them, establishing themselves as a powerful business family who took control of the mining companies as a mean to have their facade covered. In the following years one by one descendants came from each Kin arrived at the town, sometimes a family claiming to be from this or that Kin arrived until they were representatives of each of the five living Kins in the city.
In the present, a mistake during one of Vela Mining Co.'s routine caused a large explosion on one of the mines, killing several of the workers in the process. Some claimed it was an staged accident in an attempt to strip them of the power they had, which worked, the media coverage and the many dead and wounded forced the owner of the company to sell the business to Stark Irons, a growing company from the west who allowed the Vela family to keep the scrap recycling plants since they claimed to only be interested in the mines. Soon they would realize that as a consequence of the "accident" Ladon's forces were awaken and all the families sent their current Champions to fight the ensuing evil. It proved to be a bad call, though they learned Ladon had not awoken to full strength, he had more at his disposal than a handful of sorcerers as they thought, he had his necromancers revive his fallen Kin and outnumbered, the champions were either taken to Ladon or escaped severely wounded. This prompted the Stein family, the descendants of the Drake Kin to select a member of each family, one that had training and could battle, and give each of them one of the devices their line had been working on with the help of some scientist of a secret group whose identities they didn't share with the rest, a morphing device that allowed each of the Champions to channel the power bestowed on them by the Dragons through their ancestors and become Rangers. And so, the Dragon Force Rangers was born:

As they morphed, they found themselves able to battle Ladon's Kin with ease, it was until he started to revive the fallen Champions from the ancient Kins that they had trouble. The original Champions proved to be quite a match for the rangers and while most times they would win, they found themselves winning battles too close to losing. It was until another ranger appeared that things seemed to work better for them. A sixth ranger using golden armor helped them on a couple occasions and while he never stopped to introduce himself to them, they figured it had to be a member of the other families, or that at least Mal's family should know something. After several weeks of investigation and encounters with the man they came up empty handed. It was until that new ranger went on his own to battle one of the fallen Champions from the Wyvern Kin that they found the truth about him. During the battle it seemed his power had trouble keeping up with the foe, forcing his defeat in the end and unmorphing him in the process. Roxy recognized him as Percival Stark, the first born child of the owner of Stark Irons.
Wyvern Terminarch - Percival Stark
When the rangers confronted him, Percival explained how the Wyvern Kin had lost all of their original Champions and though it was in fact extinct as a Kin, two of the Champions had children before their deaths and not being part of the attack, they were raised to adulthood and trained by their families, separately to make sure they would not be hunted by the remnants of Ladon's Kin. Eventually both lines would come together and join in a single line, a line in which he was born. He explained how unlike most of his family had remained in the shadows, only preparing to aid the other Kins if they were ever needed and not contacting them for their own safety, but his grandfather was of a different mind, he wanted to show the other Kins, or their descendants really, that the Wyvern Kin was not really extinct and to do so he tracked them and managed to find them in this country. His father and his family moved to America to manage Stark Iron's branch on the west while his grandfather and uncle plotted how to prove themselves to the rest of Kins. In the end they decided to stage the accident at the mine, using some relics from their ancestors, knowing it would awaken Ladon and told his father to pay attention to Vela Mining Co. in the next months for him to make a move on buying the mines if something happened so they had an excuse to move to Ironden. Unknown to his father, both Percival's Grandfather and Uncle, being the latter the their current champion, attacked Ladon's lair as soon as it opened getting the old man killed and his uncle presumably captured. This left his father as the head of the company and thus unable to take his brother's place as champion. Knowing his uncle had no children and both him and his father trained him, Percival decided to take his place as Champion, but just like the rest of Champions, being on his own he was easily defeated. So to take things to the next level, following the connection of the Stein family, he contacted Hexagon, and asked them to make him a morpher to be able to battle Ladon's forces. Everything was working just great for him, he battled Ladon's army on his own, helped the rangers when they would get killed if he didn't interfered and only then since he didn't want to have any contact with them, but when Ladon revived that Champion he had trouble fighting, he had fought fallen Wyvern Kin Champions on his own before, but this one seemed to be different, and all he could think was that maybe this one was one of his ancestors and that was what interfered with his powers.
After knowing everything the rangers hesitate about Percival's intentions, knowing what his grandfather and uncle did, they were not sure to trust him, he could try to act against them too. They decided to not work with him for a while, but when Ladon's sorcerers started controlling the other families, they didn't have the stomach to fight those who were basically their families, something the Terminarch could. Much to their surprise though, he didnt kill or severely wound anyone. Instead he defeated them by knowing them unconscious so that the sorcerers wouldn't be able to control them anymore which changed their minds about him. He was not willing to kill for his cause, at least not innocents, that was clear now. In the end the six rangers decided to work together and eventually managed to get to Ladon's lair, facing the wicked dragon before he could come out and kill more people, sacrificing their zords in the process they managed to kill him, along with his followers, who Ladon had eaten to recover his strength. In the end they rescued the few captives, except for Percival's uncle who had lost an arm in the fight when they attacked the lair and was not able to survive the final battle with Ladon.

So a while ago I found this amazing place called Dragon Cave, now I won't tell you to join, that would be against the rules I guess, and I don't get anything from it either so, yeah. Seven tribes formed a contract with seven different dragons each representing a different form of magic. These tribes coexist with each other in peace, protecting each other and living in harmony. An evil King and his knights wish to hunt the dragons and harness their different elemental energies for himself to spread his will across the land. War breaks out and the 7 tribes and 7 dragon clans are hunted down and killed one by one. However, one tribe member from the fire tribe manages to escape with the last remaining dragon eggs and heads out to find a safe location to wait out the madness, however, he is spotted by a patrol of knights and is chased down to the edge of a chasm. Before the knights can make a grab for him, he wraps up the eggs in his arms and leaps down into the chasm, disappearing into the darkness. He awoke later to find he and the eggs survived the fall and found themselves in a deep cavern. From within came a voice, followed by a light that led them to an enormous underground temple ruin. The bright lights were coming from 7 flames of various colors, and the voice was coming from a larger silver flame in the center of the ruin. Suddenly the flames ignited and formed together to create an astral form of the Dragon Queen Tiamat. She spoke to him and showed her acknowledgement of his bravery and true friend to dragon kind. As a reward for keeping the last eggs of her children safe, Tiamat breathed her flame over him and the eggs, giving him new life as a dragon-kin, half mortal/half dragon. The fire dragon egg began to glow and took the form of a dragon morpher and attached to his wrist. Tiamat spoke again, "You will be known as the Red Dragoranger! Forged by the flame you will defend this realm from those who wish it harm. Take these eggs and find warriors to aid in your fight." In a burst of light she vanished and the young warrior found him and the eggs back on the cliff side. Knowing what lay ahead of him, he set out to find his team and take back his realm.

Wow! They really look similar and you have even the same colors... damn, I feel bad now. I mean, don't think for a moment I tried to rip you off, I definately have not, I came up with this idea several years ago, basically a couple months after I joined dA and started posting ranger teams, so the concept has been there for about 4 years now, so quite some time before that pic was uploaded, but damn! they really look alike
I honestly have no explanation of that, and I really feel bad because I thought I was doing something quite unique and to find out there is another team so close in both appearance and inspiration to mine mankes me feel bad really
I apologize really, but as I said, I came up with this concept a long way back, the only reason I didn't added them before, as I said in the description, is that I wanted to make sure I was skilled enough to make the suits in the way I wanted them, which honestly took me longer than I expected.
You have quite a nice story there by the way, we even share some terms like "Dragonkin" although with different meanings for our concepts, but it is interesting to see how both teams have more similarites than just their appearance.

I too came up with my team about 8 years ago I believe back in 2009, or at least that's when I designed
my Red Drago Ranger. The rest of the team came later after I created my DA account and I just went from
there. But yeah like I said, I loved your story and background, I just wanted to share mine with you as well
since we both had such a strikingly similar idea to each other. It's just a matter of great minds think alike and
I am sure there are other dragon based teams out there as well and I am always interested in learning their stories,
how they came to be, what inspired them.
Again I apologize if I sounded like I was saying you took my idea, that was not my reason for posting my story and team pic.
I just thought since we shared a similar setting, it would be cool to compare. the pic I showed you was drawn up by

Well that is quite good to hear, I was honestly worried about it, I don't take lightly when someone tries to rip off my works and because of that I try to remain very respectful towards other people's works, but seeing you understand the situation its quite reassuring to me, thanks!
And I guess you are right, we have quite a lot of similarities in our work, the fact that we settled for the same colors even, save for that extra ranger you have, its quite surprising. I had a lot of trouble choosing the female colors really, I even toyed with the idea of using pink (which I personally don't like) and the final outcome is the same as your team colors, thats quite something. The stories though sharing a lot of similarities and key terms, are quite different so, that is something lol. But yeah, I agree with you, great minds think alike indeed.
And yeah I checked the work and have it on my favs now lol. I checked yours too, I like how your rangers look, they look funny while still looking cool, I like that! I like the fact that you took the time to make a dragon ranger on almost every ranger team, its quite cool what you did there!
I have a question, how do you put the watermark? I want to do that with my works too because, well, you never know when someone will try to use your creations and try to pass them for their own.
