Anne's head slowly turned to face the booth. Saunders, his face pale, stood there watching. He nodded slowly.
"He's no dummy!" floated from Anne's open mouth. Somehow being seen like ... like this by the manager was a fresh shock. It isn't me! she wanted to cry. But speech was impossible - except when Locke chose to play with her. Help me! I don't want to be his dummy!
