I've wanted to paint this picture for a long time already - and when I saw those beautiful background textures by Dani-Owergoor , somehow this gave me the final nudge I needed to get started.

I really love these two guys in combination. Seriously, between Donnie's scientific mind and Mikey's out-of-the-box thinking, these two could rule the world. The show implies as much, for example when Mikey finished the retromutagen that Donnie had been working on - and I love that Donnie is quick to give his brother credit for his contributions. They are probably the reason why Mikey is still allowed to be inside Donnie's lab, despite incidents such as the creation of ice cream kitty or Mikey smearing the "super cool"ed mutagen stuff on himself...

Done in GIMP. The background is based on one of the textures mentioned in the beginning.
