I definitely hope we see more Power Ranger stuff from you in the future. Especially with the movie coming out in a few weeks.

Weirdly I was thinking about doing some power rangers stuff but wasn't sure what series to base ideas on not a huge fan of mighty morphin' just because alpha used to annoy me so much in the show

Well, fans seemed to flock the most to the teams from 1999-2006. Definitely a lot of good classic material with those seven teams. My personal favorite team Dino Thunder got third place on WatchMojo's Top Ten Power Rangers Series video. Not sure why they picked RPM for second and In Space for first. If your looking for a team with an extensively big variety of designs, that would probably be Power Rangers S.P.D. Around 25 Ranger designs are shown in that series.

The thing that confuses me with power rangers is that it's based on a japanese show first but they condense down the amount of rangers they use per zord I think it's probably down to keeping more money in their pockets so they don't have to hire more actors etc. Also idk if it's just me but ninja steel doesn't seem as good as other series especially the megazord design seems so clunky where the middle piece is just essentially a seat for the extra zord to swap with. I loved wild force and mystic force because the zords just seemed so much more symmetrical and better thought out.

Weren't the zords in Mystic Force just essentially transformations instead of actual zords? That definitely was a creative change. Although one could make the argument that Saban was just ripping off their own Digimon franchise with those transformations. I mean come on, when they activate zord-mode, it's clearly a far cry to the Digivolution sequences in Digimon. One of my personal favorite series of zords was the Galactabeasts from Lost Galaxy. They were essentially Elemental Alien Kaiju that resemble Earth animals the rangers were able to talk to. (At least when they were able to translate the grunts, growls, and snarls)

that's true, in honesty the whole franchise probably is just 1 massive rip off and yet they make so much money from it all and now they've made the gritty movie will probably make more money again. I was looking forward to super megaforce when they did the trailers showing they could transform into other rangers it looked great but then when thee series came out they barely used the concept and used even fewer zords, I had hoped they would combine different zords from other series in a really clever technique instead they just use 1 or 2 zords with the main zord and that was it, even orion didn't have his own proper zord just a recoloured version of q rex megazord from time force
