Hey, another Rider Comm. How 'bout that? This here is a Rider that I really ended up liking the concept/design for, the martial-arts themed Kamen Rider Goken!
Now the commissioner already has an extensive bit of lore behind this guy on his own page, and I'm sure there's more to come at a later point, so I'll just stick to the design aesthetics here. Goken here was very much designed with Zero-One, Agito, and Kabuto in mind. As well as a tiny bit of inspiration from Dairanger, Gekiranger, and a bit of Kamen Rider OOO. A mostly sleek, mostly simple design meant to be less flashy then other Riders without skimping out on the details, befitting of the martial arts thematics going on here.
The belt is something entirely of my own design. Using the kyutama-esque transformation trinkets as buttons on each hip, Goken here can transform into a variety of stances, or equip a series of gimmick-form armaments. Here we see him displaying his default Tiger Stance, as well as two of his gimmick-forms: Spark-Claws and Gale-Runner. The gimmick forms were entirely my decision to add, mostly because it was the most interesting way to include the sash he had requested in the design.
A shocking amount of time and thought went behind this guy's design. I think this is the most above-and-beyond I've ever gone with a Rider commission. To the point where I'm almost upset that this isn't my character. I'm ecstatic about how this guy turned out in the end, especially the subtle yin-yang design I managed to sneak into the belt. It came out superbly well, in my opinion.
Do not use without permission.
Enjoy.

The suit should be composed of different parts, with the names fitting the form

Oh, I know what you mean now.
You'd have to ask Steel about that.

You can do that, while I will be drawing the MOTWs for the series, and here are the first 3! (The order is right-to left. Remember that!) Anyway, I have completed Zyumas Rhino, Mantis, and Stork. No word on Monkey and Porcupine

Good to see this uploaded at last! I know we had some teething trouble with this one, mostly because I wasn't very clear about what I wanted to begin with. But I'm glad you've ended up enjoying this as much as you did, and you never cease to amaze me as usual. Great work
I'll be sure to try and dig up some time/points to collab/commission some nore Goken stuff in the future. I wanna go all in on this guy, as I really do think he's the best Rider concept I've come up with for a long time.

Honestly? I kind of like the back-and-forth. It makes sure that the final product is something that the client wants.
He's certainly the one I'm most invested in. Dino was good, but his design didn't flow as naturally form me as with this guy.

I suppose. He didn't come out quite like I already envisioned him, but I think he's a lot better off for it
Yeah, this is a real improvement on Dino. No offense, but you can tell that he was one of my earlier ideas. Goken's really benifitted from me taking the time to do research and understanding what makes good Rider design

Indeed. Something I wish I did with Arzol.
