Hey, been awhile since I posted anything. And, in a shocking twist of events, it isn't even my character! Some of you may recall this martial-arts themed Rider from a long time ago that SteelKomodo commissioned from me. Well, it took far longer then it reasonably should have, but I finally finished it! With some significant changes from the first few uploads I did. Also, before anybody asks, no. I'm not reopening commissions. This one was LONG overdue, and I also really liked Goken as a concept and wanted to finish him.

So on display here we have Goken's first five forms: (from left to right) the Tiger, Swan, Gorilla, Serpent, and Mantis stances. Alongside the special form Dark Tiger Stance, and some quick alternate modes for Swan and Mantis (wings and arm blades, respectively). Equipment wise there's Goken's signature weapon the Tri-Ken (with a storage mode, staff mode, nunchuck mode, and tonfa mode), and the various keys that Goken uses for transformations and abilities.

The keys above the driver are used for transformations, nothing particularly special all things considered. Bellow the Driver are all the different sub-keys, functioning similarly to Wizard's spell rings, granting Goken various abilities. And because me and Steel spent a good hour or so coming up with ideas for them, I'm going to list them off and what they do.

From left to right, top to bottom:

> Ride Jaguar (summons Goken's Motorcycle)
> Jump Grasshopper (enhances jumping and kicking power)
> Drill Narwhal (creates an aura drill around one of Goken's limbs to be used as a weapon)
> Flame Salamander (enhances current form with fire-abilities)
> Shield Tortoise (allows Goken to generate energy shields)
> Dive Dolphin (allows Goken to swim and dive through solid surfaces, like Wizard did when he used Beast's dolphin ring)
> Spark Peacock (enhances current form with lightning-abilities)
> Spike Pangolin (causes spiky scales of light to protrude from Goken's body, for attack and defense)
> Scope Owl (enhances sight and hearing to beyond superhuman levels)
> Crash Kangaroo (enhances punching, lifting, and throwing power)
> Fade Panther (invisibility and short-range teleportation)
> Barrage Hornet (allows Goken to launch thorny projectiles from his attacks, like throwing knives)
> Lash Octopus (spawns whips of energy from Goken's hands, for attack and mobility)
> Frost Penguin (enhances current form with ice-abilities)
> Mirror Chameleon (allows Goken to deflect and reflect projectiles)

The functions of Goken's Driver might also be familiar to you if you've watched Kamen Rider Revice, as it's now essentially identical to the Demons Driver. You plug a key into a port in the top (and remove it) before pressing the sides of the driver inward to initiate the transformation/key-abilities. Pressing the sides inward again actives finishers. For more details about Goken, be it lore or his abilities, I suggest going over to SteelKomodo . He'll have your answers.

I'm really happy with how this all came out, in the end. A lot of assets did get recycled from earlier Goken uploads, but there's quite a deal of new assets. And since we agreed to ditch the sash-change gimmick, I was able to really go nuts with some of the chest piece designs (and by that I mean Mantis. I went nuts with the Mantis chest). Giving each form (besides Tiger) a unique feature was also pretty fun to do, helps 'em all stand out a bit more. My favorite would have to be the Gorilla Stance, those giant fists were fun to conceptualize/make.
