I wanted to practice drawing blood, so instead of just drawing it I decided to make a "step by step" tutorial.Hope you it's helpful at least a little bit

Now gotta say you did a great job explaining how to do it, the steps are easy to follow and at a good pace, I congratulate you on that but I can't say the same on the drawing itself.
As first view someone would guess it's paint not blood, why you may ask it's because
-blood is not shiny or can reflect light easily as water
-blood is has not heavy as paint, it is light as water unless it is on really exaggerated amounts
-Blood doesn't off scatter like that
When drawing blood you should to look at references, have you ever cut yourself?
Remember your first cut or the closest you can remember, blood goes off a little slow river, once reached the floor it goes off as small teardrops, if it reaches a bigger amount it goes off as a puddle of water not of paint.
So remember, blood is like water, it is light. It will only be heavy on really exaggerated amounts. But it can't reflect images like windows, the sun, etc. When painting blood think of watercolors.
This would make a great tutorial for paint not for blood.

Helpful because I always tried to draw blood and it never came out good it always looked like the first step but what you done is you took your time and show us a good blood design and what this will do is it will impact how people draw blood in a better way and maybe even teach them how to do even better in their artwork and if that was your goal well you did even better than you can think. It was helpful to me it was helpful to you and helpful to us all out there. Keep on drawing

I agree with Violinblade - not to disrespect this tutorial as i'm not entirely amazing with blood either but if blood is on the floor - you'd actually see part of the floor beneath it - if not - then just a thicker color towards the middle and a thinner softer more transparent color to the outsides as it spreads out when it hits the floor just like water - blood is thicker than water, especially in exaggerated amounts.

It would - paint does reflect, but not even that much - it's because it's heavy.Β
In terms of how you explained it with a simple step by step is really nice and informative but nevertheless - the actual image isn't productive towards those who're looking for blood
