[updating for morning haha]Just a weird concept that came to me last week
And I guess..I can't stop painting even after that Miku piece LOL
I had more fun with this one because of the hair and red...I love coloring red.
I also can't stop testing out new coloring style ;v; I really had a lot of fun coloring these diamond/polygon shapes.
Basically! She is a girl who was cursed to have a werewolf-like form (she always appears like this) unless she eats human meat-- the more she eats, the longer her human appearance lasts. But kind of felt ironic that a human would eat..human to be more "human" haha..so I guess she's still a monster no matter what.

It's about as ironic as rain on your wedding day, that is, not at all. Eating humans to be more human makes a twisted sort of sense. You are what you eat, after all.

Reminds me of the old original tales of Red Riding Hood where she eats her own Grandmother, though she doesn't know this at the time, after Red arrives at her house. <.<

I believe its her hood, I think the artist tried to do something like "Little red Ridding hood" but as a wolf form.

I adore this piece, and the play of light and red tones was brilliant. I'd love to see you take some more takes on fairytale concepts and turn them into characters like this, and definitely love the style you're using lately. ^^

This is a pretty awesome twist on Red Riding Hood. The idea of a monster having to humans to become human reminds me of the Kumiho or Nine tailed fox from Korea who must eat human livers or hearts in order maintain the energy to become human.
