Wahhhhh thank you for this!! ; w ;

I've always wanted to find a way to attach ears to a wig seamlessly without ruining the wig. I've used barrettes before to make tanuki ears and they've worked pretty well (Well, they slipped off my head sometimes by accident!! But otherwise, they worked!)

I used upholstery foam to make a base for my ears, and then slipped/hot glued the fur onto the foam base. But I'll definitely keep this tut in consideration!

Yeah, it helps debunk the mystery of threading fake ears through wigs.

Shouldn't plastic instead of metal be ligther to wear? Also the big screw could hurt you (or someone else), isn't there another way of attaching the bunny ears?

I would go for a stripped plastic headphone as base. Also easier to drill holes in. How to attach the ears, I can't give you a good solution for that at the moment...

This is mend as positive feedback, I don't want to hurt your feelings in any way

My ears are very heavy, because the fur is very thick and long.
Plastic is not heavy enough to keep the ears.
If I would use plastic, the ears would fall off the head.
You can use plastic for smaller and lighter ears.

The screws don't hurt ^.^ because the screws are securely inserted into the metal.
There is no part that sticks out and could hurt you.
I wear the ears themselves since 4 years on various conventions

Oh no, I am grateful for any kind of criticism!

I'm going to be making a pair of ears for an armoured ranger Leafeon cosplay some time soon - Hopefully going to be making them rather lightweight, so I can use leftover Worbla to make the headband (found this tutorial today, will definitely use bc GENIUS but have no metal to use lmao)
