...So I've had The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for over a year, and I still haven't beaten it.The main reason? Phantoms.
It's pathetic, but I'm terrified of them. It's bad enough that you only get a certain amount of time in that dang Ocean King temple before the sand in the hourglass runs out and you start to have the life leeched out of you, but there're also these huge goliath things that search the place and when they see you, they run up to kill you. And they WON'T DIE.
Nor can I draw them properly. D:
I know the Phantom is a bit big, but I was exaggerating the size to make him seem scarier.
Well, of the three things that I felt like doing today, this was the first. I'm gonna move onto something else now. G'bye.

Ugh. Yes those things are terrible indeed. I recently started playing and I'm at the point where the new FASTER Red ones show up. Great. And I here there's worse ones further ahead. Whatever. Cool picture! This has happened to me numerous times in the game.

the Phantoms i hate the most are those brown ones...that have huuuge axes....and teleport... Dx .....jeez, the see u and they're all like, I HAVE YOU NOW!!!! ...and teleport and kill me!

My heart races when those things see me. I just about pee my pants when they find me. It took me a whole year get up the courage to get past those things.

When I first got Phantom Hourglass, that was my same opinion. I was so scared my younger brother was the one who did the sneaking around. My least favorite phantom is the one who runs on steroids and runs liek 3-flippin' times faster than the blue one!! And those damn Phantom-sentries with one eye that signal phantoms where you are on the floor!! What a pain in the butt!!
I ended up beating the game though, and what a relief...I only had like 20 seconds left in the hourglass...
PS. if you're still up to the Ghost Ship, don't worry there aren't Phantoms aboard the ship...What's on board is far more sinister...

When I finally got the Phantom Sword I killed every single one of them with vengeful glee.
Maybe play with the volume all the way down? The alarm sound they make always startles the living daylights out of me...just like redead's screams.

I used cheats, so my health was never drained, I didn't have to worry about...well...I kinda did have to worry about the Phantoms, but I didn't have to worry about dying, because I was cheating.
I smacked them around a lot.
It didn't do anything.
But it satisfied me so.

I used cheats for a while, too, but my dumb AR made my boomerang disappear. >.< So I had to do it over without cheats. But now I feel prouder of myself, cuz I'm actually getting closer to beating it!

Once you get the phantom sword, the temples easy. All you need to do is stay in the safe zones and plan yur moves.

I borrowed the game of ~Sanii-chan and defet it in 3 days... The temple was irratating, but once you figure out a strategy against all the floors its easy.

I was scared of the phantoms, too! Did you get to the part where you get the bow and arrows? If you shoot a Phantom in the eye-thingie on its back it'll be confuzzled (stars and birds chirping around) and you get some free time from it. Also when you get all 3 metals and forge the Phantom Sword or whatever it's called, you can kill them!
I beat the game 3 times, it gets more exciting every time. ^^

Wait, I thought I got you through that part. Or at least one of the parts inside the Temple. You're still terrified of the Phantoms??? This might help your fear a bit. Just go in a safe spot and chuck your boomerang at it. The phantom won't die, but it gives you a lot of satisfacion to see the stupid thing being clobbered by a scrap of wood and not being smart enough to figure out where you are.

Nope. Well, I did with the help of my AR, but for some reason the dumb thing got glitched and made my boomerang disappear. So I had to start all over again without cheating. Also, I shall repeat what I said to =Pikininja :

TAKE THAT, YOU UGLY SACKS OF ARMOR!!!!' and then when I was trying to get a Force Gem to the Triforce, I was too preoccupied with the Phantoms to look at my HP, and some spikes came up and stabbed me. I proceded to yell 'I DID NOT JUST DIE. I DID NOT- I JUST DIED!!!!!! THAT IS SO CHEAP!!!!!!!!!' Yeah."

Lol. I'm sorry. Oh-and just a warning. Don't use the disc and don't hook your AR to the computer. When my bro did that with his, the computer wiped it blank and now he can't fix it. There's a way to add the games back on, but that doesn't even work.
