took change the thickness of the lines, you have to draw the lines with the pen tool on a linework layer (paint tool sai) then you use the weight tool, choose the size and then just click on the lines you want to change. Hope this helps

Well, the 'Pricing' Journal is basically ready, so I guess there's no harm in showing it to you, though it's just a list of guidelines on how to price... There are a lot of adoptables kinds and I really wouldn't know how to price pixel doll art.

A not-original lineart certainly drags down the price in a drawn adoptable, but I can't really say if it's the same for pixel dolls, since they require editing at a deeper level than just a colour design.
I'm afraid I can't help you much in that aspect... I know that ~Hardrockangel-Adopts does some pixel adoptables, perhaps she's more updated on the pixel market than me.

Can an adoptable be anything of your own creation? like a person, animal, ect.?

It can really be anything. I saw even orange adoptables once. And I'm talking about the fruit, not the colour...
And there must be something of your own in the creation, if you don't want to have copyright issues. For example, you can't sell Derpy Hooves, but you can sell a MLP you designed on your own.
I tend to do original species or series-unrelated characters to avoid this problem.

Yes, I do.
Original linearts help raise an adoptable's value, plus I can customize them how I want without needing to ask for permission from the original artist, mostly because if an artist does a free lineart, they don't like to see it edited.
Let's be honest, how ugly is it to see an awesome lineart with a Paint add on? And even if the edit is done in SAI or Photoshop, the style difference is always going to be noticed. And if you're good enough to copy the lineart's style... Well, you can make your own lineart.

And I see alot of adopts that are like, just a solid color wolf or something and sell them over 40 points..
Mind if I ask, what exactly are custom adopts?

Sometimes a good lineart makes up for the simplicistic design, but only if the lineart is an original one. (If you see a grey wolf with a white tail done on a free lineart, you can simply take the lineart and then recolour it, maybe add white spots over his eyes and TA-DAH! New character.)
Customs are adoptables made with an existing base but use colours of the commissioner's choice.

I get inspired too by other artists' works, but the point is to give something its value.
I wouldn't give a point for an outfit made of a pair of plain blue jeans and a white t-shirt, but if you use those as base and add some original embroidering on the trousers' hems and maybe turn the shirt into a top/corset with some strategically place holes, then it becomes something more valuable.

A suggestion, though... In the last two adoptables it's difficult to see the details because of the size. If you want to use pastel colours (they are wonderful, but they're harder to do designs with because they tend to merge with each other) you might want to do a bigger sized adoptable.
(Also beware of yellow. It's a powerful ally in designing but it you want to use it for lineless details, you might want to choose a more saturated and possibly darker coloured background. Solid white is fine too.)
