This piece is part of a collection of work where I explore the contrast between the impact of the graphic images of hardcore pornography and the soft often mundane textures of the felt.
The use of abstract imagery is inspired by traditional silhouette paper cuttings, socialist poster art and the distance-illusion effects created by impressionist painters.
