So, I tried using this hair tutorial to figure out a new way to colour and shade hair. I tweaked some steps down to my level, because this was a bit advanced for me, but I was wondering what you guys thought?I am thinking that I might do some Shinka character concept sheets with this kind of style on the hair. So-jealous-you-could-handle-braiding. Braids are so hard ;n; and so are curls. And dress frills. But this look good! The highlights and where the hair folds into each other on the braid looks natural. And the shading at the top where the hair pulls into the braid is the most beautiful part about this to me. Not sure why, but it's so good!

Thanks! Braids are so freaking hard, but I have a main character that's hair is in a braid, so I felt I should learn. I am glad you like this style because I think I might start using it.
