Oh noez. Not another fan charrie!
This is Miakau (mee-ah-kow).
He is a feliulf,a shaggy cat-type creature created by =Ribbontail .
Miakau is a professional fire juggler/eater that lives on the small island of Kukitea.
He grew up loving the surf and the sand. And won a first place metal from a competition when he was 7.
He has all but forgotten how to surf since he reached maturity. Now all he wants is to impress the ladies,wether that means strapping on a hula skirt and making a fool of himself,or swallowing a torch of burning sparks.
He is mildly Halloween themed for my own veiwing pleasure.
I wanted to make him white so he'd be 'normal'....but I couldn't resist making him spooky. 8DFeliulfs (c)

You beat me to the halloween-themed feliulf! Drat, I was going to do a random feliulf for every holiday, so I s'pose that Miakau takes the honor of being the one to represent Halloween. :]
Aww he's simply adorable, though. He's simply darling with the color contrast (orange+black+blue=win) and the design. And goodness, a surfer-esque theme mixed with the astranged holiday... his two main qualities are as dissimilar as O'liday's.
I bet the two would be best pals if they ever met. <3
Hoho! My only critique is for the reference itself, not the picture. I think your actual linearts and coloring is splendid especially in your style, so I have nothing to say about that. I would recommend that you move the picture of Miakau up just a bit, so that the text "dyed fur" is only a few pixels from the information box.
And uh..I don't know, maybe add another small information box with random tidbits like his hobbies, personality, etc. That would remove the blank space. n_n

I was sketching penguins in different poses,and I noticed that you can pretty much do what you want with them. And their beaked faces can show alot more expression than all those mammal characters people come up with. I'm gonna start designing now. ^^
