Maybe she feels a bit of indifference or sadness from what she hears around her even though she lives in this colourful world. Its really up to the viewer to decide! My main goal was to play with saturated colour, composition and clouds.

Wow, this one is breathtaking! I love everything about it - her face is stunningly beautiful, and I always admire this kind of work with colours, I am so shy with using different, crazy colours for making shadows! And I love the idea to use bright blue for a part, where the hair should be the darkest. I love the cloud outline too.

Im generaly quite shy with colour as well. When you want something to pop or stand out, choosing a colour next to said something can play a big part. Ill have to play with these bright colours more down the line. THanks!

Definitely! I would love to see you play with this colour scheme some more, as that's definitely a very interesting artistic choice, and it definitely goes nicely with your general style, which I've been following for some time now and I really admire.Β
Actually, choosing the right colours is a very difficult job, and it might be even more important than the lines themselves (at some points at least) - poorly chosen palette can ruin the best lineart, in my personal experience at least. Or it can boost it up and make it absolutely unique.
