Description: This is Mel Masters, Ken and Eliza Masters son, Ryu's Godson, and nephew to Guile. Throughout Mel's growth Ken wasn't there as much due to tournaments and other issues. But when Ken was around he spent his time with his son as much as he could training Mel and being the best father as he can be.

When Ken wasn't around, Sean Matsuda trained Mel in Ken's absent being he was Ken's first student. And when ever Ken's Friend came Mel always bugged them to teach him a something new. Mel Masters did well soaking up and tweeking what he has learn to make it his own.

One day, Ken was invited to a tournament that he never made it to. He ended up missing Which has put a lot of stress on his family and friends. It was bad enough that Ken wasn't there as much for Mel but to end up missing brought him down even furhter. Guile speaks to his sister and mother to Mel that may be it would be best for Mel to travel some where; and they agreed.

Mel has asked to go to the dojo that he pointed out in one of the pictures he has in his room of Ryu and Ken when they were younger, thus his request was granted. Guile drops him off near by and watch Mel walk off to the location. When Mel gets there, he notices the dojo is deserted. He starts to train throughout the day and stopped at night fall. As he set up camp outside of the dojo he saw something from the corner of his eye, turns and notice there wasn't anything there, but senses a strange presents. He calls out to what ever is there wondering if that person was the one that trained his father and Ryu and mentions their name.

Some one shows up with a strange ora around them and wore a mask. This person starts training Mel and a few months in Guile returns to the same spot Mel was dropped off to pick him up. On the way back Guile tells Mel that he has a lead on where Ken might be. Guile told him he didn't want Mel to take action and to let him do the work.

At home, Mel calls up Rock and told him about what he has done and the information that he has gotten from his uncle. They set their rival ambition aside to team up and search for Mel's father. How Mel and Rock came to be rivals you may ask? The answer is, from a old tournament Ken and Terry had back in the day.
