project first page in color!! this took me days to finally get together...most of the time in between was spent playing on the ds..lol sry bout that...yeah this chapter mary-chan helped me put together...it's a starting point at least...PLEASE PEOPLE IF U HAVE ANY IDEAS LET ME IN ON THEM!! KEEPING THEM SILENT WILL JUST MEAN THE PAGES WILL TAKE A TON LONGER TOO COME OUT!! plus most of mary-chans ideas involve her...i might get tired of drawing her if i have to do it much longer...*bangs head on table*

i draw chibi a lot more than the usual anime style most of the time...it's a bad habit i guess...

Well, i'm giving you a few suggestion...
If you're drawing a serious story, i don't think chibi is a good idea...
If it is about romance story or funny story, chibi is a very good thing in manga, let's say "Lucky Star" for example, they're chibi and funny!
Another suggestion is it is good if you are willing to learn something new like instead of drawing chibis, you should draw a pretty girl or a handsome man. Or try some new styles, it takes time but when times goes by, it was worth it! Right now as a traditional artist, i've been trying to make the first CG art...but i'll leave that for now since like my journal stated, i got exams... -_-"
Anyway, just keep it up and you'll be as popular as the others!

Hmm, interesting start. Might wanna point out in the later pages that the doujinshi is read right-to-left; it threw me off a little at first.

Aw... Baby Triceratops (or whatever it's card name is) looks SO cute. Especially with that little teardrop under it's eye, as it cries for it's mommy. Cool comic page, can't wait for the next one.

As for ideas let's see...a group summer vacation to a summer home at the beach(whoever's rich owns one I guess?)!! Tell scary stories, smash a watermellon, go to a summer festival, play ping-pong, bathe in a hot spring(easy place for perverted jokes/moments), and...study!! Ok, obviouly, they wo'nt do any studying but it was supposed to be a group study before the schoo lyear starts.
