I don't see how. Its dull, cliché, it tries to be something its not, in fact the movie doesn't know what type of movie it is, its character development is poor, its pacing is terrible its narrative is terrible its comedy comes across as unfunny, and quite frankly is an insult to one of America's most beloved icon. Doesn't mater if you like it or not, it remains one of the worst western movies ever made, up there with the "Wild Wild West." Its pretty much Pirates of the Caribbean with cowboys. The movie just felt like an insult to my intelligence and an insult to one of America's all me classics.

I've seen TONS of western movies from John Wayne, to Clint Eastwood, to modern greats like Django and The Hateful 8. Western is virtually a dead genre, and people tend to use this excuse as to why "The Lone Ranger" flopped. In truth, "The Lone Ranger" flopped simply because it was an all out bad movie. "Django Unchained" didn't flop because it was a great movie.
Did you mean to say "there is nothing wrong with POTC meeting Cowboys?"
Because if so, then in the case of this movie yes there is definitely something wrong with it. It tries to be it, it is all effort and no fun whereas the first POTC movie was effortless fun until the franchise just overstayed its welcome. I mean they're making a POTC 5, POTC 4 is proof enough that some franchises are better left alone.
