Finally got my art room put back together!!!! YAYYYY!!!! Now I can upload my stuff again
Anyways, I made this one for my grandma. It has 7+ gears, swarofski crystals, a gold key, a gold wing, a black watch face, a star charm, and a few random watch pieces.

I buy most of the stuff on ebay, antique malls, and flea markets. You just gotta keep your eyes open for bargains. I use totally recycled materials (excepts for a few things that I get from Michaels) so I try to keep on the look out for inexpensive necklace chains as well. I have found that Forever 21 has really cheap necklaces with nice chains.

i tried to make one for my friend but all the watches nowadays have teeny tiny gears and a really small amount at that! but i do have some others from a make-your-own clock thing but i dont have any cool keys or anyfing.. >:C didn't see any the craftstore either, im stuck D: bsides im not awesome leik yooo

You should try it! I have taken many watches apart and they actually don't make much of a mess. The whole movement is connected and stays together nicely. The hard part is unscrewing all the little pieces.
