This is one of the old works that i dig up...Gundam RX-78-2. done in 2001 using poster colour (gaouche) on illustration board.

I'm really impressed by the craftsmanship on this. Gaouche can be a temperamental medium but you really kicked ass with it here. The composition is beautiful and the energy of the background really makes things striking. The RX-78-2 can look a bit toy-ish, but here it is definitely in the midst of war. Oh, and, heh, good choice of subject matter. XD

Nice! Old-school painting of a new school reworking of the Gundam (well sort of... it's the Master Grade version 1.5 I think). I wish more Gundam box art still used traditional paintings like this, it takes a lot of skill

I am quite fond of this piece of artwork. The shading somehow makes what is usually a bright and virtuous symbol look dark and intimidating. I'm not sure about the shield's vision port though - it seems to glow bright blue as if it's a camera, but from what I recall of the series, it was simply a crude slit to peer through. I suppose this is artistic license.
The background explosion makes this image what it is in full - The darkness of a sky above, and a horizon aflame from the White Devil's rampage. Unsettled water underfoot, as if nothing is safe from it's touch.
That's how I see it.
