Oh my gosh, can you believe it?? This thing just travelled past my house! Doesn't it look like an F5 tornado? (Luckily it wasn't, just spectacularly bad weather with storm gusts and pouring rain). I swear, if summer continues like this, all of Berlin will be a swamp in a few weeks!Related content

wow .... nasty! So you have been having bad weather too eh? It's been a lot worse than normal here. We do get the odd tornado (like one or maybe two a year) but last week we had 11 in one day sighted in our province! About a month ago we had one go thru here that just missed me but about a mile away people lost the roofs off of their houses and trees were knocked down everywhere! I even had one big tree in my yard that had a couple of huge branches break off and land down on the road and completely block that!
It's scary!

Oh yes, our July felt like autumn instead of the height of summer. It improved a bit towards the end, but it's still very unstable weather and rains a lot. Gosh, I can't imagine what it must be like to live in an area where tornados actually happen (although there was one in Poland, not very far from Berlin, about two weeks back)! I can imagine it must be a very frightening experience!

ya well .... I'm not going to worry about getting wiped out ... I have no control so why worry? And no .... no tornado shelters around here. Like I said we maybe had one a year or every other year in the whole province and so rarely hit a populated area so it isn't something we prepare for. But if it keeps up like this it might be!
