Expressive self portrait done last spring for Drawing II. I used acrylics, ink, chalk pastels, pencil, and we also transferred some prints onto these. Some of the doodles you see on here such as the paint tube on the upper left and the pencils on the bottom right, and kaiser at the top, were all drawn, photocopied, then transferred onto this. The camera is the only actual photo on this piece. Sorry if the colors are a bit funky, shot a picture of it in low light. I still plan to go back and work on the hands, they were the last thing I worked on so they need some touching up.Related content

A fantastic picture, I'm afraid I'm terrible at saying what I think so you'll just have to settle with "I think you used the colours really well". xD

Cool! I like the way that there are different elements to the picture, like you're not sure where the boundaries are, especially with the hands. Nice work!
