A family friend (who, incidentally, had never seen my drawings before, tho knew I dabbled) gave me my first ever commission, asking me to draw this famous painting "Spring" by John Lavery. I'm better at drawing ugly old men than pretty young girls, but I was interested to try something new. She seemed very happy with it! She and her social circle strongly encouraged me to "put my work out there," so here I am... out here.
