This one was so much fun to paint, I found myself stopping to laugh occasionally while I was painting it.
I was contacted by the Husband to paint this for his Wife as a "statement piece", which I absolutely love.
I was given a reference image of the original painting by Rodney Raines on Instagram.

I changed the background to be more like Hagrid's Hut and make it my own.
Painting all the individual hairs all over his body was so meticulous but rewarding to finish.
I swear his eyes would follow me around the room when I wasn't painting him!
I really enjoyed painting this and I got to see her reaction when she opened it at Christmas!
