Description
Another picture~ X3 Still idea creating. Enjoy.Azar training as one of the Watersmiths, learning their ways of forging weapons. Being a fire type made learning of these techniques difficult as he couldn't stay under water for very long and without the use of water moves he couldn't influence the water and pressure to move and hold the magma and metal, so he came up a way to do so by using his raw fire power inside him he taught himself to focus that to move around and control super heated martial, though this does leave him very tired afterwards unlike the normal method. Another downside for him is that he has to use the magma vents near the surface and close to the island as he needs to use his breathing tube to stay below for long periods of time, they pump air for him through it back on the island or on a ship close by.
Azar is useful back on land able to refine and repair, bestow and alter all kinds of weapons. Not having to be underwater to do this most of the time lets him use all his ability to these task to become one of the best on the island.

must be difficult, you'd think he might get hypothermia.

I'm sure he can keep his body at a good temperature X3

You know that Quilavas have fire in their backs right?
Ugh, that hurts...

I do believe that they can control that fire, it doesn't always have to be spewing out X3

yes but he does have a really high body temperature anyways, or at least one would assume. I think that its still hazardous for his health

He releases excess heat when forging and fighting X3

That breathing tube breaks the laws of physics for me... Or are the other water types stop the water from falling into the tube?

They're pumping air into it just for him XD Don't worry.

As you see bubbles start rising from the water XD

I think they first had the idea to give him a breathing tube when bubble stopped coming from the water XD

I also like the idea that his back isn't on fire the entire time stops a lot of problems

Yeah, I like to think that their fire doesn't have to be spewing out of them all the time XD

Hmm I think I know why water smiths were the best metal forges... Is it becuase they could instantly cool down since they forge surrounded by water and since that the metal won't bend since the metal won't have any time to fall down to gravity

Yep yep~ They're really good at what they do and produce the finest weapons. X3 Of course it's more expense but that's what you'd expect.

Why can't other places use this technique is that island the only place with underwater volcanic activity?

Kaystaar In reply to KombatPhoenix [2015-09-29 16:23:53 +0000 UTC]
Well no, this Island just has a lot more X3 Also the Watersmiths have techniques that they only teach to others apart of the island. No one else in the world knows their ways of creating their weapons.

Since I was curious and wanted to find out how much psi you will need to withstand to get to an underwater volcano IRL you will need to withstand around 3663.7 psi... And that is why we have fiction boys and girls!

Now I wonder how salt water would affect smithing, the salts in the water would definitely give the metal a different property but probably not a good one, not to mention all the oxidization. But then again a different world could have different physics Β Β

They have a large lake of fresh water in the middle of the island where they do work, as well as work in the sea X3 They have ways of cleaning the water and protecting the metal when working.
