I think she'd look great if you spread her fingers & showed webbing between them.

I think her breasts are fine were they are, if they were up higher it's look unnatural and fake, I do agree with softening them though. I really love the palette you've done...I still can't seem to tone down my palettes.

I think Im going to leave them where they are and just soften them, but thanks! This palette was just a rough overlay to see if it worked, but my problem is always toning up the saturation lol Everything I do is always so desaturated!

I think her breasts should be a little higher, and their curve could be slightly softened (unless they're fake, but I don't think xD). But it's really good, you seem to have made a lot of progress recently! Her face is beautiful!

Thanks! I see what you mean about softening them after coming back with fresh eyes! And thanks about the face! I did that completely without reference because the ref were actually of a friend of mine and she wanted me to change it up so no one would recognize her lol

Please...my studies are just copies. You're actually being creative, which is something I'm trying to work on.

Well I need to do more studies so my lack of skill won't keep stopping me from pushing my creativity further lol It's all a balance

Looks really sweet so far! reminds me of Victor Nizovtsev's mermaid series. My only suggestion is to possibly widen her midsection a bit, whenever drawing people I always try to keep in mind where certain organs and bones are placed. Can't wait to see this finished!

Yea everytime I look at the torso something bothers me about it, I think I do need to widen it! Thanks! And Ill have to check out that artist, maybe it'll help me with the problems Im having with the scales lol

Scales are a bit odd. Maybe try having some more variations in tones among the scales like in his paintings.

He seems to have neutral toned ones but also throws in a couple very dark and very light ones among the scales.

I see, that actually does look very similar! Im glad you showed me this, now I have something to use as direct reference instead of just looking at scales on fish! I just looked up more of his work and I love this whole mermaid series!
