Description
A pretty simple composited image of a cat on a stoop. This image is also totally non-destructive and uses a whole ton of masks for just about everything. Feel free to full view and d/l to get the full effect of the piece.*edit* Sorry for the long downloads and full views, I dunno why it's so slow, though I do admit that this is a big-ass file.

Although a darker, even possibly a black cat may have worked better for the overall theme and composition of your piece.

This is indeed the end result. I'm moderately happy with it, though I don't think it's quite perfect yet 
Actually I tried a black cat, it didn't stand out enough from the background to look good (directly behind the cat is a really dark/ black area that the cat just got lost in. I also like the pose of this one better.
