Description I think I'm slowly getting the knack of underwater coloring. I drew this image sometime last year and finally decided to finish it. I know that there are a few people who have been pestering me to color this image.

Sometimes I really hate working with a mouse....not to mention too many black and white characters. But I really like the result, especially the lighting, it was fun to work on but too many layers Though I do think I have a lot to improve upon.

Unfortunately only from a distance at Sea World, though I wish that I could spend time with an entire pod of Orca's just as my characters are ^_^

I understand that sometimes SeaWorld make arrangments for people to swim with the orcas. Maybe you should pursue that dream? Again, a very nice picture.

Yay! ..you finally colored this one! *skitter* Excellent job getting each of the figures to stand out seperately .. must have been a challenge with all that black and white in the image. I love the design of your mer-folk, especially those solid tails! I'm glad you figured out your underwater problem!

Thanks hun Now I have to get the other image of Kiz'met transfered so I can color his and put him up I was a bit crosseyed for a while after all that black and white, but it was worth it...still need to think of a race name though

Great job! That's alot of black and white! You might wanna lower the contrast a bit on the orcas behind the charas. Its kinda hard to make out the female's face. But all and all this is a nother fantastic piece! Too bad there are no CD Player toting Sea Turtles in this one.....XD

You worked so hard on this piece, Kel... only to have it turn out looking wonderful! You carried off the underwater lighting really well and also did a good job in distinguishing each character from the other. It must have been hard coloring all that black and white. Great job!

Kell this is too gorgeous The only thing I could suggest is to increase the contrast when you have 2 characters in front of one another. But absolutely awesome work on the underwater lighting!

Looking good. You've got that sunlight through water going well. For some furture coloring, maybe bring some of the background color onto the characters. Like the blues, yellows, and greens.

It is about time you finished this one. It is well done. Think you need to push the coloration on the orca people so they stand out a little bit more because what pops out are the two that are not straight black and white... maybe at a little more blue to them next time. It is fun and well done... hope to see more of them. I know you have fun drawing them.

I actually just realized looking at the image that I forgot to work on a bit of shadowing and highlights in places I may actually go back into this one a little bit and try to fix what I missed. Thanks for the comment hun.

They Hybrids, I'm still working on a true race name for them. I just haven't had time to work on them lately, unfortunately ^^' Thanks for the comment ^^
