For the third time, Murk dreams of his friend Trice. Far more vivid than his usual dreams, the previous visions had left him exhausted and confused upon waking. But this one is just peaceful. A glassy pond in a still glen, and Trice reflected in the water's surface, happy and bright. It still seems a little bit weird that he's been dreaming about her, and the thought of her ever finding out about it is mortifying. But maybe it's not so bad after all.
