I thought it was a cute homage to the original series, but in many ways the Blues and Khakis were impractical to the continuity, especially after Caprica came out and Blood and Chrome completely ret-conned the period.

yeah, I mean its nice to pay homage. but one thing I like is when scfi uniforms have rank insignia. It Β just seems more complete. so I do like the fact that blood and chrome retconned it.

Also, if you look closely at the pilot flight suit of the Cylon War era, it is very clearly meant to evoke that link to the original uniforms as well, especially around the collar the and the design of the pauldron, probably RDM and David Eicke attempting to mollify the die-hard original BSG fans by creating a link visually.

I agree with the last three, but I dont really like very much your version of the Duty Blues and the Duty Khaki Enlisted uniform, made me remember the Original Battlestar Galactica, and this is the New Battlestar Galactica, the uniform of the last war have to be more original than that.

Ho, I try to get the flashback, but I couldnt get it, but I see the movie and the episode, without all the flashbacks...
