Description
This is Kamen Rider Byakko, Taiga's 'evolution' so to speak. Byakko is the Tiger of the West in Japanese mythology, so I thought it'd make sense that going from a normal Tiger to the mythological one would make sense.His armor seems weaker at a glance, but he doesn't lose any durability, the suit is just less mechanical and more biological. I'll explain that at a later date.
You may notice some simularities to the Blade suits, which is intentional, as Blade has a role in this Rider's creation. Anyway, tell me what you think!

Hmmm, pretty cool but it seems like something is missing...not sure what. Also the helmet makes him look like a kaijin rather than a Kamen Rider, idk it just looks too animal-like rather than like an actual helmet that you can wear. Anyway keep practicing.

Yeah, I know. I intend to redo him. The helmet for Byakko is hard though, since he's supposed to remain looking like a Tiger and I love the "tuffs" on the side, but at the same time, it's hard to keep those traits and still look like a Kamen Rider. Any suggestion?

I know he looks weaker, but its not. Taiga was bulky and heavily armored because it was fully mechanical. Where Kage was super strong and durable because he changed his body, Taiga had to make up for it with bulky armor and heavy machinary. This worked but came with the problem it was hard to update and shutdown for a long time if it was too badly damaged. Byakko is based off the Rouze System from Blade (in Universe, Tachibana actually helpped build this thing) and merges the user with sythasized Metal Akuma DNA and was created by a race of heroic kaijin named Tenshi. So he doesn't have as much armor and bulk not because he's less durable or weaker (in fact he's better in both strength, speed, and durability than Taiga), but because he doesn't need those things anymore. Make since?

well... I get that, but what I mean is in term of design
here is an example [link] , when Kamen Rider Accel up graded to Trial form, his armor is reduced, but has a design, it has for more "detail" compared to the original form, which makes it eye catching and different but in stylized simpliscity

Well Byakko would probably look better if he was colored. Only problem is it doesn't really turn out right when I try. Well, the head doesn't anyway.

Thanks. But do you have any suggestions in that respect? I want to keep him looking simular to the Blade Riders, but keep the sleeker look.
Also, he would have more gold trim than Taiga, as he's supposed to have a more "Mythical" design to him.

hmmmm try using the bits from Ultimate Kuuga, as it was the only form with less armor but far more detail o3o

I see your point. The chest armor design might look better on him.
Though something I should point out is his is Byakko's base form, he isn't a new form of Taiga so much as his sucessor. And this isn't his ultimate form, he has one form after this.

Thanks. Part of the reason was for a sign of evolution, going from a being called simply tiger to a legendary one, and I am really getting annoyed about people complaining there was already a Kamen Rider Taiga (even though there's not, its just Kamen Rider Tiger, not Taiga, but it gets on my nerves).
I like the name though. And I think he looks more Rider-like now.
