And now for something completely different.I've been doing these guys for about ten years now, on and off. Occasionally finding suitable rocks and then doodling these guys out. Giving most of them away and selling the rest.
These four are the most recent ones I've done. Upper left to right, clockwise: Huffus, Reginald, Dolphus, & Bandlestaff.

Thanks! They're done mostly with prismacolor pencils and a little acrylic paint for the highlights.

Do you use fixative on the pencils?

Yes I heavily coat it with a spray fixative. Probably about 10 light coats, letting it dry between coats. I use Krylon Crystal Clear [link]
If you coat it well enough it will be waterproof allowing you to keep them outside without any weather damage.
