there is a novel by Brothers Strugatskie, called "piknik na obochine" (dont know for english equivalent), and there was a movie by Andrey Tarkovski "Stalker", loosely based upon that novel, your shot reminded me that atmosphere. If you havent seen the movie, i strongly recommend you to do so )
