just uploading this for a forum post about 3d hair, it's a character wip for my major shortfilm project titled product of war. his name is not final, at all, heh. just exploring random mythological names.rendered in 3ds max 4, the hair was done with Shag: Hair, the model was done with box modelling and the texture was drawn freehand in photoshop.

wow, that's some nice work, the texturing is great, and the lighting is really well executed. Is it me or are his jowels a little blocky? The chin section looks a little exaggerated, it would be interesting to see him from the side.
