Of course where wopuld our heroes in a half shell would be, without their master and father-figure, Splinter.

Requested by , here's the different styles of Master Splinter.

1. The Original Mirage Comics/2007 Movie Design: Believe it or not, the style of Splinter in the 2007 is actually based on the original design of the Mirage comics.
Not much to say about this guy, except that Mako doing to voice for Splinter in the movie...wasn't my cup of tea

2. The 1987 Cartoon Design: Unlike the original Splinter in the comics, this Splinter actually was Hamato Yoshi before he was mutated into a rat.
Though I prefer the origin of Splinter being a rat along, because it is harsh to make a guy live in the sewers if he has new money.

3. The 2003 Cartoon Design: Unlike the 80's cartoon Splinter, where I didn't like his origin, but likede his voice; This one is the opposite.
I like his origin, but didn't like his voice all of that much.

4. My Design/Take: Now for my design of Splinter, I actually used an image of a real rat as a reference, because (no offence to the animators) the other Splinters look more like wolves or lions.
I even give Splinter a chipped ear (from where Oroku Saki/Shredder attacked him), yellow eyes, and light-brown fur with white tips (to make him look old).

As for the ear hair, it's a natural animal-trait when they get older, hair starts growing out of their ears.
