A sneak peek of what I've been working on for the Oriyan! webpage. I'm drawing male and female examples of each race. It's maddening, challenging, and fun all at the same time.These are my version of centaurs. I always thought it was weird how a lot of people just stick a human torso on a horse body and call it a centaur. Not that I'm opposed to that, I just decided to design something different for Oriyan! I tried giving them those sideways horse pupils at first, but they scared me.

She's really cute; I'm not cartoon horse, and I have a little bit of a crush on her. She looks a little like my wife might look if she were a furry cartoon centaur

No, but really.
I like the idea of hairy-all-over centaurs. It certainly makes more sense than naked-human-torsos-coming-out-of-a-horse-neck.
Also, the Kentuaride (the name for lady centaurs!) is really cute. If I were part cartoon horse, I MIGHT have a crush on her!

Ooh, there are Centaurs in the Oriyan! world! I'm excited that there are going to be new races in the comic
I love it when people make their own interpretations of how a pre-existing idea should look; your centaurs look more natural than the ones with hairless upper halves

You did a very good job I must say, having the human upper half look a bit more like there representing horse half. Very imaginative.
