Not a big fan of Raph in Rise. I understand that he's supposed to be the muscled tank (Aswell as a snapping turtle), but jesus he's huge! The other three look solid, but Raph is just too bulky in their.

Also, why make him the leader? And why is he the eldest this time?

Instead of a snapping turtle, I've decided to make him a Big headed turtle. He's muscular like Leo, but is a lot more cutup.

Long ago, He and his three brothers were an experiment, alongside their father, Master Splinter in a lab of TCRI. They would often be played with by a girl called April O'Niel. They were injected by a serum filled with green chemicals called the "Ooze". At first, the four baby turtles showed no signs of change. However, the lab caught on fire which destroyed everything. Splinter the rat rescued the four turtles and raised them as his own. As months pass by, the turtles started growing and evolving into humanoids, as well as Splinter. As they got older and bigger, they would then watch a lot of action movies where the five would mimic their moves, greatly enhancing their reflexes. As the turtles grew into teenagers, Splinter would outfit them and arm them with weapons. They would become, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. They would later bump into their childhood playmate, April O'Niel.

Raph is second eldest of the turtle brothers. He is always competing to rival Leo, always exercising and working out to one day compete with Leo. However his hotheadedness and arrogance always puts him behind Leo. On his spare time, he prefers to solo it out, trying to go out on his own journey . Splinter sees a lot of potential to Raph,to one day lead the turtles where Leo could not. Even Leo views him as a second in command, and when he's not around will have him lead the team.

Raph's main weapons of choice are two large Sais. Forged by the finest metals by Splinter. The Sais reflect on Raph's aggressive stance and nature. He would later realize that the sais were forged with spiritual energy, capable of surround Raph's body with energy that deals more damage to any foes that dare stand in Raph's way.
