Woah more Ehsay realism? And it's not a man???!!!!Yep it's one of those rare instances where I drew a woman!!!! (cuz guys won't let me take pics of them for me to draw...>.<; ) She posed,I snapped a pic...a week later it's been painted on canvas...
This is a photo of a pic I just finished (in all it's crappy camera quality) with experimentation in painting and color!
And yeah I know I have color isolation problems...but it's sorta my style..
Plan to use this for my portfolio!yep yep...^^

The model: my dear friend KK-chan( ) but I doubt she'll ever see it on here cuz she's never on lol!
time taken: about 8 hours I would guess

This is really impressive--you definitely have some skills with those acrylics! The lighting is absolutely the best part of this piece; the contrast between light and dark is just intense, and in a good way. You really conveyed these values incredibly well. The details on the subject are captured very well, too--the realism shows and you've got the proportions well intact. Definitely worthy of your portfolio.
(And if you need photos of women to work from, I'm sure I can dig something up for you!

My teacher said my colors were very isolated (and I know that but I can't help it lol ) but still makes an amazing portfolio piece apparently.
