So, I've had this idea where Louise ends up reverse-summoning herself to the Earth of XCOM, specifically during the events of XCOM 2: War of the Chosen. I figured that she would start wandering about the area only to run afoul of an ADVENT squad. Just before she is either killed or taken, an XCOM squad comes in, kills the ADVENT soldiers, and brings Louise along. Back in the base, Louise explains who she is, where she came from, and how she got there, and she also demonstrates her magic, or relative lack thereof, as proof. XCOM agrees to keep her and find a way to bring her back home while also continuing their fight against ADVENT. At first, Louise would stay in the base and interact with the XCOM personnel since she does not wish to die in a war that she is not part of; however, after learning more about XCOM, its history, and the sacrifices made by its forces, as well as the extent of ADVENT's actions, she would insist that XCOM train her to fight alongside them. Here are a few points I have for this crossover:

- Louise would be either a Sharpshooter (so that she could fire at enemies from far away) or a Specialist (so that she could heal her teammates via GREMLIN). If she becomes the latter, she could probably bring a GREMLIN along to show to Professor Colbert. Either way, she would also be using her magic alongside her equipment.
- Aside from the GREMLIN, she would probably be amazed at the SPARK, though she would initially mistake it for a Golem before Shen corrects her. Nevertheless, once she gets back home, she would tell Professor Colbert about the SPARK, as well as maybe the SHIVs if Shen tells her about them.
- She would initially mistake Psionics for magic before Tygan properly explains things to her. Also, she would not become a Psi Operative, but XCOM could modify some equipment from the Psionics lab to help her with her magic.
- Louise would probably be shocked at the fact that XCOM performs autopsies, and I imagine there would be a scene where she and Tygan argue over the necessity and ethics of performing autopsies.
- The Warlock could end up becoming a nemesis of sorts for her. I imagine the Warlock looking down on her and insinuating that her magic is inferior to his Psionic powers. Her initial interactions with the Warlock would spur Louise to try and hone her magic and ask XCOM for assistance in this.
- There could be a few epilogue scenes featuring Louise back in her homeworld. Some of the people she knows, particularly Karin, would notice some changes in her personality.
- Saito may or may not be part of the story given that he is only around 17 to 18 years throughout the Familiar of Zero canon unless, of course, XCOM is willing to recruit younger people to fight against ADVENT.
- I've also imagined a sequel where the Ethereals find and invade Louise's homeworld, and now she has to rally the rest of Tristain to fight against the invaders. However, given the significantly lower technological level of the Familiar of Zero world and the fact that XCOM may have no way of knowing of this invasion, it may be challenging to make this work.
