Here is the cat rig that I created with the horse model by 13ravens. This rig includes a root bone which allows me to move the whole character around the scene without deforming it, and IK constants.Here is videos (In three parts) of me creating this rig in blender:

This is a very old picture of a rig I did for a game that has now been closed.
All the youtube videos were was of me creating the rig, nothing too spectacular.
