Description
As October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, I've decided to make this free avatar to support research for the fight against the terrible illness. Please use this to spread the awareness!Everybody should know how to check for breast cancer - including males, as they can get it too! It's never too early to start checking, and it's an easy routine you can just do while you're in the shower. A quick self-examination can often mean survival.

What about the other types of cancer? breast cancer gets sooooooo much support, where as, the most deadly (brain cancer) and the most painful (bone cancer) virtually goes unnoticed.

Well, I agree with you - I just happened to make this for Breast Cancer Awareness month a few years ago, and indeed in recent years breast cancer survival has skyrocketed due to campaigns like that, relative to those other forms which aren't so strongly campaigned. Clearly it needs to be spread much further than breast cancer!
I will gladly make other cancer support/awareness avatars when I have the time. c:
