STORY EXCERPT::
Sikesti lay gasping, every breathe she took felt like burning claws tearing further and further into her body. She dragged herself as much as she could, thoughts of her daughter, Rinexia, flashed through her mind. Her beloved Mate, Spirit, Her Comrade Absinthe, and.... Her sister, Sana. Her eyes flickered, her vision slowly beginning to fade, as she dragged herself a little farther.
'I... must reach them.' She thought desperately wishing to make it back to them all. However, her efforts proved fruitless. Her strength waned, and she collapsed breathing heavily, eyes focusing with finality. Into a steady beam of singular light, she cast her desire, one last wish into the Adén De Vaden.
'Watch over Nexi as she grows. Please... keep her... safe.' She begged once more before she rested her head upon the grass, and heaved her final sigh. That beautiful cerulean gaze left to forever stare at an untold future.
