Description
Another one of the Ancient Ones in my story. Rune, the Guardian of Life and Death. Horse anatomy is stupid, so I pretty much said screw references and improvised, trying to recall when I drew unicorns a long time ago using images of Epona in my OoT strategy guide as a reference. I... suppose it passes to the untrained eye. Though once again I've surprised myself. This pretty much started out as a bunch of triangle shapes. It took me about 5 or 6 hours but I did it! I really enjoy this picture. It's very lively and the anatomy is perfect. The shading is great and so is the lighting. I'm still a working artist and I'm definitely not as good as you are, but I do know a great picture when I see one. I also love the back round you did a great job on it!
