Aw Rikku <3 She's the type of cheerful character that I love in videogames, kinda like Vanille. I still don't know if I like better her or Yuna, though uvuI chose the version of the sequel because I like her personality more in the second game, and her design is gorgeous with all these colors <3
The costume was made by me more than a year ago and only worn last summer uvu I also made the wig by myself, I sew the ponytail and made all the braids, since it seemed impossible to find a good Rikku wig that didn't cost a kidney ><
I totally need to replay the games thou, my ps2 broke a long time ago but I don't have time nor money for the remastered version, sigh T_T

I like all three of the ladies in Final Fantasy X-II, but you are right that Rikku is the one with the most bubbly personality, and it makes her so cute! You have captured her essence quite well with this Cosplay. Having the support of your family is an awesome thing, and I feel that this helps with your efforts in what you do. I always enjoy seeing your pictures!

Thank you very much! It surely helps a lot to have the support of your family or at least not to have their disapproval, I know some cosplayers who have to work secretly on their costumes and hide their hobby from family or friends, which is just sad. And I agree with you about the FFX-2 girls

potsmack says it all about why I love seeing great cosplays of personal favourite characters. Rikku is one of those characters (but all 3 girls appeal, and I agree that the FFX-2 versions of Yuna and Rikku are more interesting than the FFX ones).

Was too damn shy to comment on any of the earlier ones to be honest. You're an amazing artist, and God bless your grandfather. There's... something painfully beautiful among what the Japanese truly consider "costume players," where you... become actors, where you channel the entire... essence... of the characters you choose to become. There becomes a glory in the minutia and details you achieve in costume, character, weapons, details... but the very spirit of these people we've felt like we've come to know are channeled into the best cosplayers.
