omg. its been like forever since my last art submission xDDD. I havent really had a lot of time to draw lately ><. Being super busy sucks D:
But anywho!!!!!!
OOOMMMMMMMMGGGGGGG. Code Geass is over. ;~; I am epicly sad. I-I-I dunno what to do DDD:
But now I am kinda happy, cuz now I can draw pictures from Code Geass again! yay [I have this weird pet peeve that I dont draw fanart from series until Im done watching them....] So yeah! I did a Code Geass R2 pics [please ignore that it is a week late xD] But I only drew my fav characters from R2 b/c im too lazy to draw all the important characters >< [like rolo, nunnaly, schinzel, charles, etc]. But I have to say, I reallllllly enjoyed that last episode [and the R2 in general] So Im gonna do a little review...

So Ill start off with R2 in general. After the epic season that was Code Geass [R1?] I went into a long w8 for the second season. ANd lo and behold! It was pretty epic too, not as epic IMO and it did get a little ridiculous [Sayoko diguised as lelouch? uhhh...ok. let's go with it?]. But it was over all really good and kept me wanting MOARRRR every week xD. But I have to say...I wished it wasn't so rushed and focused a little more on a point--but I understand the the time slots got in Taniguichi's way and seriously screwed up his whole vision of R2. With that said, I felt like the conflict with Charles was too easily delt with and the battle with schinzel was anti-climatic. Also, the half an episode battle with nunnaly was kinda pointless other then telling us that nunnally was now making her own decision [which we already knew....].
But did anyone else catch on the the kinda ironic view to Code geass? It's basically about an extremely powerful dysfunctional family. lolololol. But now about the characters.
First off, Lelouch! Amazing as always, not much to add there.
CC. WTFFFFF! I was expecting them to go into more detail and development with her, we never found out her name D:, and she got almost no screen time...
Kallen- this is...interesting. In the first 2/3 of the series I liked her, but near the end...my head started to hurt xD I didnt know if I should root for her or Lelouch. lol.
Rolo-..........;~;. When he was first introduced I was like WTF GTFO! Then I started to like him and he soon became on of my more favored characters...until he killed Shirley [Who I never really liked but still...so sad T___T ]. Then I was like HOMG! GO DIE! And then a couple episodes later he did die. And it was so sad I was like OMG PLEASE COME BACKKKK D: [we never did find out what was in the locket...damn you sunrise]
Jeremiah!!!! BWAHAHAH! Without a doubt, my fav character of Code Geass- tied with Lulu maybe- but he was epic! [I think he should of hooked up with the ninja maid that the end so they could have robotic ninja kids. But once again. I blame sunrise] xD
And finally. Suzaku! ok. so I knew coming into R2 that there was a chance that I might like him. But i didn't...that is until the end! well...i didnt LIKE him, but I found him less annoying and contradictory and a very tolerable character. Which is amazing considering my burning dislike for him at the end of R1. xD
And all the rest of the characters I was just kinda mehhh, didnt hate them but didnt love them a lot.

But now onto the important stuff! The last episode! Ok so it was freaking epic, I got chills and goosebumps, almost broke out crying [until ALI PROJECT started -___- tottally killed man.] The Zero Requirem wasnt that big of a surprise, kinda saw it [infact, I pretty much saw everything after episode 21 ish]. But still, Lelouch dying was amazing and done PERFECTLY! Unlike some other selfish physcho genius -cough light cough-
Buttttt......I'm afraid Im gonna have to join the "Lelouch is not dead" club. LOL and heres why! First of all, that doesnt fit lelouch's previous personality, he's always had a back up plan, and by this i mean, he surely must have calculated what would happen if something went wrong [like the world finds out the zero is suzaku]. Secondly, my main man of LOYALTY Orange-kun. I doubt he would EVER agree to a plan where royalty is killed, especially since he doesnt really care about Lelouch's goals, he just follows and protects him. Next is Mr rocket-ship Charles! Go watch the episode where he gets "banned", he says "As long as my mark still exists" then proceeds to grab lelouch neck and then gets dissolved. But if u pay close attention, when lulu says "Begone" The geass sound effect goes off, and as even more proof, watch the scene where he grab lulu's neck and youll see that his mark is active even though the mark only activates when it is used. So either lelouch took his code willingly or was given it by force [and maybe he didnt even know about it, or wasn't sure it would work]. Actually, just look at this ~__~ [link]

So yeah. thats pretty much my reasoning, also, I think its kinda romantic for Lelouch and CC to be immortal wandering lovers. lol, but w/e, this is SO in taniguichi's style, he loves the ambiguous endings [S-CRY-ED anyone?]
But seriously, I need an OVA or something to give me closer and answer all the questions that the series forgot to answer [CC's name, what exactly IS geass, Charles and VV's past and how VV got a code, how did CC get captured at the beggining of the series, ect. too many to name]
