So! If any tf series was in need of a revamp, redesign and regutting, it's BEAST MACHINES!
While initially, as some of you may know, I did not like BM. In fact, I despised it. But, recently, after a third viewing of the series, I can honestly say, I actually, really really do like it. I like what the writers were trying to do, I like that the writers had the pure guts to do what they were doing. I have said before that they had butchered the characters, but now I can see that they were merely exploring them, pushing them to their limits--declawing Rattrap, guilting Primal, twisting Silverbolt and emboldening Rhinox. It was painful to see the characters that we had come to love so much be put and have to deal with what they did, but in the end, we discovered so much more about them.
However, on that note, I would also like to say, that a lot of the concepts were poorly executed. One of which is the art and design direction. Not much to say about this, other than, for the most part, it was terrible. Painful to the eyes.
Another problem, was with the character limits. I like what they were trying to do, but sometimes they just missed it completely. So in this "revamp" I'll be adding in my vision.

After landing back on Cybertron, Primal came into full grips with his failure--the entire Transformer race--their death weighing on his shoulders. Aided by the Oracle program that gave him direct access to the Matrix, Primal became dependent on the will of the Matrix, no longer trusting his own judgment. However, this dependency on this program led Primal into a state of insanity and pure fanaticism, as he began to lose his old self.
After nearly destroying Cybertron due to his own lack of decisiveness, Primal came face to face with the Oracle. And it is here that he learned that the courage and leadership that was needed was not in the Oracle, but in the very thing that had made him, and every single Transformer, more than just mere machines. The truth had always layed inside Primal's spark, his own free will. Primal came to full grips with his failures and his past as the confident and brave leader of time's past reemerged from the ashes of defeat.

I'll be revamping designs and profiles of all the BM cast! Enjoy! :]
